I love this bunk bed for the boys room. It's from Decoration ideas for modern living, circa 70's. We are planning a making bunk beds like this for the boy when he gets big enough.

When I was a little kid, my parents converted our garage into a bed room for my sister and me. Along the back wall, they'd created closet that were separated (inside) by shelves. Above the closets was a loft with a ladder like the one in your image. We had twin beds, and weren't supposed to be in the loft. I'd climb the ladder and jump from the loft onto the bed :)
